R.E. Ziegler Construction is a member of the Lebanon County Builders Association, with founder Rich Ziegler having served as a past president and director.  The company is also a member of the Pennsylvania Builders Association, the National Association of Home Builders, and the Lebanon Valley Chamber of Commerce.

As a member of the Executive Committee and Board of Advisors at Penn State Harrisburg, Rich Ziegler, founder of R.E. Ziegler Remodeling & Construction Co., has donated innumerable hours of his time.  He also has donated and built an 8500-square-foot outdoor multi-purpose area known as "Ziegler Commons" on the Harrisburg campus (pictured above) and has created several endowed scholarships at Penn State University Park and the Hershey Medical Center.  For his dedication to Penn State, Rich was named an Honorary Lifetime Alumni in 2006, an honor that has been given to only 91 people through 2009.

Rich also chaired a Memorial Golf Tournament for the Leukemia Society Cure 2000 for three years, raising over $80,000 net profit for leukemia research.
